Don’t Miss Out On Black Friday & Cyber Monday Guitar Deals!

What if I told you that you don’t need to camp outside of retail stores to take advantage of Black Friday guitar deals? In conjunction with Cyber Monday, sites such as Amazon offer discounts on music gear, so you can still win without the crazy lines and fighting. These days will be here before you know it, and this article will show you some of the stuff that you can expect to see great deals on along with some of the gear I’m hoping to find.

Guitars

It’s a no-brainer that you should be able to find guitar deals during a sale like this one. Have you been looking for your dream guitar, but have been holding out until a more opportune time? Black Friday and Cyber Monday is that time.

I’m personally hoping to snag a deal on an Ibanez Jem like this one on Amazon. I fell in love with these since the first time I had tried one at a Guitar Center many years ago. The neck is amazing; however, my current main guitar feels a lot like it already. On the other hand, the pattern on the fretboard and the design on the body is really something else!

You may not like the Jem, and that’s fine; there will be a guitar out there that suits you the most. If you’re looking to buy a guitar online for a more reasonable price, there’s no better time than Black Friday and Cyber Monday to try to find what you are looking for at a reduced cost.

Basses

Like guitars, good deals on basses are pretty easy to come by, and if you’re looking to give the bass a try for the first time, finding one on sale during this season is the way to go. Even guitarists like owning a bass just to play around with, or to have one for recording.

I currently own a 4 and 5 string bass already, which will cover my personal needs for the most part, but I’ve always entertained the idea of owning a 6-string bass. The high-C string could come in handy for some things, but because it’s so situational, I want to wait until I can get one at a great price.

Right now, I have my eye on this Ibanez 6-string bass. If you can’t tell already I’m a huge fan of this brand. My very first bass was a really nice, but old, 4-string Ibanez bass and I really enjoy the thin necks on their instruments. I find very comfortable, which makes them great for beginners, pros, and everyone in-between.

Amps

Like the instruments themselves, amplifiers are some very high-value items. Luckily, you can potentially find a lot of Black Friday guitar amp deals which can make finding the amplifier you’ve been looking for a lot easier than other times of the year.

While it’s not a real amp per se, I’m hoping to find a deal on this Line 6 Pod amp modeler on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. I’ve briefly talked about modelers and solid state amps in another article, and I’ve been pleased with older Pods in the past, so I want to get my hands on a more recent one.

With the right timing, you can give your entire sound an overhaul by finding the right amp for the right price. The type of guitar you use makes a difference, but arguably, the amp has the most significant impact on your overall sound, aside from skill.

Pedals

While not as pricey overall as guitars and amps, brand new pedals that aren’t on sale can sometimes still cost you an arm and a leg, often charging around a hundred bucks depending on the brand you’re looking at, and there are a ton of different guitar pedals, so it adds up.

I’ve enjoyed my Korg guitar tuner for many years now, but I think it’s time to try something that is a little bit more hands-free. Therefore, if I can find a deal on this Boss guitar tuner pedal on Amazon, I will be a very pleased man. Even though it’s not an effect pedal, it’s still one that I can find a great use for.

As mentioned before, pedals do have the potential to really add up in cost, especially if you a rig that uses a lot of them. If you plan on purchasing multiple pedals at once, try to hunt down some Black Friday guitar pedal deals and save some dough.

Guitar Pickups

Have you been looking to upgrade the crappy stock pickups in your guitar? Wait until Black Friday and Cyber Monday to find the pickups you’ve had your eye on.

Unlike the previous sections, I actually do not have any guitar pickups that I am interested in getting – I am happy with the ones that I do have. However, I can recommend you the guitar pickup set that I personally think anyone can benefit from.

Hopefully, your guitar uses humbuckers because the Jazz and JB pickups are some of the most versatile ones and my personal favorites. They are powerful but can also be mellow at the same time, making them great for just about anything. Luckily, these two pickups can be purchased as a set, and you’ll still be saving money over buying them individually.

Even if you have a preference for a different brand, use single-coil pickups, or you want to make a switch to active pickups, there’s a chance you will be able to find Black Friday guitar pickups deals on all of the other top manufacturers like EMG and DiMarzio.

Miscellaneous Accessories

Black Friday and Cyber Monday is also the perfect time to pick up some of the basic, essential guitar accessories that you’ll be using on a regular basis.

I know for a fact that I will probably need some new guitar strings pretty soon, and hopefully, I can hold out until those dates. These are my strings of choice, and I am hoping to stock up on enough to last the whole year.

Strings, guitar picks, cases, cables, stands, and even books, software, and stuff for maintenance are some of the little guitar accessories that you shouldn’t miss out on during these dates. You may even find them bundled with guitars, amps, and pedals as it is, so be sure to keep a lookout!

Conclusion

Despite the chaos that is associated with Black Friday, you can alleviate any apprehension or stress regarding this time of the year by choosing to stay indoors and doing some online shopping.

There’s a reason why this holiday is so popular; people are able to find insane deals on just about anything, and this includes guitars and other peripherals. Because online shopping is the norm now, you can take part in the savings, hassle-free!

Thankfully, the savings continue on Cyber Monday, so if you happened to miss out on Black Friday, you still have another chance to get what you need.

Whether it’s a brand new guitar, an amp, some pedals, pickups, or other accessories, I’m sure you will at least come out with something useful while still having funds to spare, at the end of the day. However, if you plan on splurging, this will be the time to do it. Good luck!
